Ralph Strayhorn

Ralph Strayhorn has built a distinguished career in banking and related financial businesses with over four decades of experience. He has served as an executive officer at five community banks, held board positions at six banks and led four banks as President & CEO. Ralph continues to serve as Executive Chair of New Republic Partners, Inc. and New Republic Bank in Charlotte. With extensive experience in corporate restructurings, private equity placements and mergers, Ralph offers a wealth of knowledge to clients navigating complex financial and regulatory landscapes.

Beyond banking, Ralph has advised and served on the boards of various non-bank enterprises including those in hospitality, industrial services, precious metals and non-profits. He has been a sought-after speaker on corporate governance, financial regulations and banking industry challenges, presenting to regulatory bodies, industry associations and corporate leadership groups.

A Durham native, Ralph has spent most of his professional career in Charlotte. Outside of the office, he has backpacked around the world and enjoys golfing, history and keeping up with world economics and politics, bringing a well-rounded and international perspective to clients.
