Overview

Marissa Gaugler is a Paralegal in Smith Anderson’s Construction practice group with an emphasis in litigation and contracts. She has extensive experience managing cases from inception through resolution and appeal, including drafting legal documents such as pleadings, discovery responses and motions, as well as preparing for depositions, hearings, trials and appeals.

Marissa provides in-court trial assistance, manages e-discovery and conducts legal research. She also coordinates litigation tasks such as managing trial calendars, preparing exhibits and collaborating with expert witnesses. With a bachelor's degree in Rhetoric and Composition and an associate degree in paralegal studies, she pairs writing skills with technical proficiency to deliver results in high-pressure environments.

In her spare time, Marissa enjoys spending time with family, reading, watching movies and taking beach trips.
