Smith Anderson has once again been honored by the Triangle Business Journal, earning the firm's fifth consecutive Best Places to Work award. This year, Smith Anderson ranked #2 in the Extra-Large Employers category.

The BPTW recognition highlights the 50 most admired workplaces in the Triangle, as determined by employee feedback on key factors such as business direction, management effectiveness, employee engagement, work/life balance, compensation, benefits and workplace culture.

"Employees are the lifeblood of any company," said TBJ Publisher and Market President Jason Christie. "These 50 companies have shown that happy employees are the foundation of successful and thriving businesses."

The winners span a diverse range of industries, including technology, construction, life sciences, professional services and finance. The honorees were selected based on an employee survey process conducted by Quantum Workplace, a leading provider of employee engagement software. To be eligible for the award, each company had to meet a minimum threshold of employee participation, and this year, 90 percent of our employees took the survey.

"Our firm is humbled and honored to have so many of our employees participate in this important survey and for us being recognized as one of the best places to work for the fifth year in a row," said Byron Kirkland, managing partner of Smith Anderson. "Every day, our team demonstrates our committed and caring culture that drives personal engagement and improves results for our clients. It is incredibly gratifying to know that our team appreciates their experience here so highly, year after year."
