Weddington to Speak at Wake Forest University's "Contract Law 2005"

Michael E. Weddington, a partner with Smith, Anderson, Blount, Dorsett, Mitchell & Jernigan, LLP, will speak on the topic of Professional Responsibility at the Wake Forest University Law School continuing legal education course, "Contract Law 2005" to be held in April 2005. His presentation will focus on the Revised Rules of Professional Conduct of the North Carolina State Bar and will address these Rules as they apply in legal practice situations most frequently giving rise to State Bar professional disciplinary investigations and concerns.

Weddington served for many years as a member and Chair of Smith Anderson's former Conflicts and Professionalism Committee and continues to provide support on such issues within the firm's revised in-house Risk Management structure. His practice focuses on commercial, construction, administrative and intellectual property law and litigation.
