Wayne Maiorano and David Hayden Speak at the BB&T Insurance and Construction Risk Services Seminar

RALEIGH, N.C. – Smith Anderson lawyers Wayne Maiorano and David Hayden presented on substantive and practical issues related to recent changes in North Carolina Lien and Bond Law, and provided an overview on Government Contracting at the BB&T Insurance Services’ office in Durham, N.C. on November 14.

Mr. Maiorano and Mr. Hayden, members of the firms Government Contracting group, each frequently speak to members of the business and legal community on Construction and Government Contracting issues. There were more than 60 clients and associates of BB&T Insurance Services in attendance at the Seminar. Mr. Maiorano discussed some of the legal issues that can provide unexpected challenges due to recent changes in North Carolina Lien and Bond Law. Mr. Hayden provided an update on new developments in federal government contracting for 2012, including new legal and practical issues.
