Wayne Maiorano Presents on Integrated Project Delivery at UNC-Chapel Hill

Raleigh, NC (June 17, 2010) Wayne Maiorano, a partner in Smith Anderson's Construction Practice Group, participated as a panel member and presenter the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on June 16, 2010. The presentation, Integrated Design and Building Information Modeling, provided practical guidance concerning the benefits, risks and application of the integrated project delivery ("IPD") system. The IPD approach integrates people, systems and practices into a collaborative design, fabrication and construction process, which optimizes efficiencies and reduces time, expense and waste throughout the development and construction of a project.

The audience for the presentation was UNC-CH Architects and facilities personnel.
