Two Smith Anderson Attorneys Receive Business Leader Magazine’s Top 50 Entrepreneur Award

RALEIGH, N.C. – Smith Anderson attorneys Margaret Rosenfeld and Kimberly Swintosky both received the Top 50 Entrepreneur award in NC Business Leaders magazine. The Top 50 Entrepreneur selection criteria are based on nominations submitted by local business leaders and the Business Leader editorial staff. The nominations were judged based upon the following criteria, the candidate must be an owner or partner in a business, they must be a risk taker who has demonstrated perseverance and a strong desire to be successful, they must be an innovator who has transformed the practice of a business, they must demonstrate success, and be active in their community.

Margaret Rosenfeld has corporate and securities law experience both within the United States and internationally. Her practice includes public company reporting, corporate governance, public offerings and private placements of securities, corporate investigations (internal and government), mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property protection and licensing, as well as general corporation representation.

Kimberly Swintosky’s principal areas of practice are federal and state income, gift and estate taxation, corporate, limited liability company and partnership law, mergers and acquisitions, general business and contract law. Ms. Swintosky is a North Carolina Certified Public Accountant.
