Smith Anderson’s Dana Simpson Recognized as a 2012 “40 Under 40” Award Winner by Triangle Business Journal
RALEIGH, N.C. – Dana Simpson, a partner at Smith Anderson, has been named one of the Triangle Business Journal’s“40 Under 40.” Mr. Simpson began working at Smith Anderson in 2000 and his practice is focused within the Firm’s health care and government affairs practice areas. Prior to law school, he served as Special Assistant for Communications and Policy to the Speaker of the North Carolina House of Representatives. Mr. Simpson received his J.D. from the University of North Carolina in 2000.
Mr. Simpson currently serves as Co-chair of the Government Affairs and Administration practice, Co-chair of the Smith Anderson Recruiting Committee, and as a member of the Policy and Planning Committee. Within the community, he serves on the Board of Visitors at UNC Chapel Hill, on the Board of Directors for Alliance Medical Ministry, and on the Board of Directors at the UNC School of Law Alumni Association.
