Smith Anderson partner Mike Saber Elected to Temple Beth Or Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees

Temple Beth Or has elected Smith Anderson partner Mike Saber to serve a 2-year term on the Executive Committee of its Board of Trustees. Elected to the Board of Trustees in 2005, Mr. Saber also will remain a Trustee and will continue service in that capacity until 2008.

Based in Raleigh, North Carolina, Temple Beth Or is one of the largest reform Jewish congregations in the Southeastern United States.

A corporate and securities lawyer, Mr. Saber has considerable experience in handling complex transactions. His diverse practice includes the formation, financing and general representation of public and private growth and technology companies and closely-held businesses, and he represents investors, shareholders and institutions involved with such companies. His experience includes venture capital transactions; mergers and acquisitions; commercial contracts; public and private offerings; strategic partnerships and collaborations; and advice to boards of directors. Mr. Saber's practice includes representing clients in cross-border transactions, most recently in New Zealand, Australia, France and Canada.
