Smith Anderson Welcomes Three New Associates to the Firm
RALEIGH, N.C. – Smith Anderson is pleased to announce the addition of three new associates to the Firm, Peter E. Bosman, Rebecca A. Brophy, and Jesse H. Jones. Each have previously worked within corporate practices of international law firms.
Peter Bosman focuses his practice on corporate transactions, including corporate securities, mergers and acquisitions, and real estate acquisitions. Mr. Bosman has experience in a variety of domestic and international finance transactions, including asset-based financing, acquisition financing, and real estate financing. He received his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2009.
Rebecca Brophy focuses her practice on corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt offerings, venture capital financings, and strategic collaborations. Ms. Brophy regularly advises a variety of companies, ranging from early-stage venture-backed businesses to mature public companies, on general corporate and governance matters. She received her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2006.
Jesse Jones focuses his practice on business transactions relating to companies in a range of industries and stages, from start-up and growth companies to larger established businesses. Mr. Jones has experience in the formation of new entities, early stage financings, equity compensation structuring, mergers and acquisitions, and matters governed by the uniform commercial code. He received his J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2009.
