Smith Anderson Welcomes New Executive Director Bill Wiggins
Bill Wiggins, a professional administrator who has decades of experience in overseeing critical and pivotal roles in operations of large corporations and legal practices, has joined Smith Anderson as its new executive director.
In his role, Bill is part of the firm’s executive leadership and plays an integral role in helping to develop strategies to support the Smith Anderson vision and mission. Among his responsibilities, Bill oversees the firm’s administrative departments and its overall strategy to ensure profitable and effective business operations. Bill also assists Smith Anderson’s managing partner with firm management, client services, consistent and transparent communications across the firm and collaboration among the firm’s senior management team and staff.
Bill has been the principal administrator at law firms for 25 years and most recently spent more than a decade at international law firm K&L Gates as director of administration for its North and South Carolina offices. Prior to that, he owned a consulting firm and was executive director for Myers Bigel Sibley & Sajovec, an IP boutique law firm in Raleigh.
