Smith Anderson Sponsors COST Southeast Regional Tax Seminar
Raleigh, NC (March 16, 2010) – Smith Anderson co-sponsored the Council on State Taxation (COST) Southeast Regional Tax Seminar on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at The Umstead Hotel in Cary. This was the first meeting COST has hosted in the Triangle. With an audience comprised of tax professionals representing companies from across the Southeast Region, the seminar was very well received.

Nelson’s principal practice areas are federal and state tax planning and controversy resolution for corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies. He is a past Chair of the Tax Section of the North Carolina Bar Association, a former adjunct Professor of Law at The University of North Carolina School of Law and a member of the UNC Tax Institute Board of Advisors.
