Smith Anderson Lawyers to Go Over the Edge for Special Olympics North Carolina
Raleigh, NC (October 4, 2010) - On Friday, October 1, 2010, Smith Anderson lawyers Margaret Rosenfeld and Kirk Warner participated in the “Over the Edge” for Special Olympics North Carolina fundraiser by rappelling off the 30-story Wachovia Capitol Center Building in downtown Raleigh.
“This event is a great match for our firm because we have several attorneys that are passionate about the Special Olympics movement and our offices are located in the building that we have the privilege of descending,” noted Margaret Rosenfeld. “We are proud to be a member of Raleigh’s downtown community and are excited to bring awareness to an organization that provides year-round sports training and athletic competition for individuals with intellectual disabilities throughout North Carolina.”
To earn the privilege for two Smith Anderson lawyers to go Over the Edge, Smith Anderson raised over $2,000 for Special Olympics North Carolina from contributions by Smith Anderson lawyers and staff members.
