Smith Anderson Lawyers Participate in Association for Corporate Growth 2010 Capital Conference

Raleigh, NC (April 30, 2010) - Smith Anderson lawyers, including Byron Kirkland and Rob Duggins, participated in the 2010 Capital Conference sponsored by the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) at the Washington Duke Inn and Golf Club on April 13 and 14, 2010. Mr. Kirkland and Mr. Duggins are partners in Smith Anderson’s Private Equity and Mergers and Acquisitions practice areas. Mr. Kirkland moderated a C-level panel event, and Mr. Duggins spoke at the ACG Deal of the Year Award ceremony where Smith Anderson client Peopleclick was awarded the private equity deal of the year for 2009.

Geoffrey Krouse and Margaret Rosenfeld, also Smith Anderson partners whose practices include Private Equity and Mergers and Acquisitions, were involved in the conference planning, and Ms. Rosenfeld is currently on ACG’s board, continuing Smith Anderson’s strong connection to the Triangle Chapter of ACG.
