Smith Anderson Lawyers Get Two Verdicts in Federal Court in Two Weeks

Smith Anderson defended a general surgeon in a case of alleged medical negligence arising out of a laparoscopic gall bladder surgery. The trial lasted two weeks in federal court in Wilmington, North Carolina. The jury deliberated for 35 minutes before returning a verdict in favor of our client.

The Smith Anderson team consisted of John Madden, Deanna Anderson, Sarah Brown, and Tococca Choate.

This is the second victory in federal court this month for Smith Anderson. On April 2, Smith Anderson lawyers obtained a defense verdict on behalf of PorterCable Corporation in a product liability trial.
