Smith Anderson Elects Six Lawyers to Firm Partnership
Smith, Anderson, Blount, Dorsett, Mitchell & Jernigan LLP (Smith Anderson) is pleased to announce the election of the following lawyers to the Firm's partnership, effective January 1, 2007:
Geoffrey W. Adams represents public and private companies in complex mergers and acquisitions and commercial transactions; and represents commercial banks and other lending institutions, corporate clients, not-for-profit entities and private parties in commercial lending and capital market transactions.
Jamison H. Hinkle concentrates his practice on employee benefits and compensation. His experience includes counseling employers on the design and operation of pension, health and other employee benefit plans; advising on ERISA and Internal Revenue Code matters; and working with a wide range of clients on the adoption and administration of diverse compensation plans.
Benji T. Jones represents clients in complex transactions including public equity and debt offerings; domestic private placements; public company securities compliance; corporate formation and governance; early stage financing for start-up and growth companies; mergers and acquisitions and strategic contracting.
Wayne K. Maiorano concentrates his practice on complex commercial disputes and all facets of construction litigation including disputes arising out of public and private projects, surety litigation, creditor rights, insurance coverage disputes, professional malpractice actions and healthcare law matters.
Nikole B. Mariencheck practices in the areas of creditors' rights and commercial law. Her experience includes representation of creditors; negotiating complex loan workouts and credit restructurings; commercial transactions and commercial real estate transactions.
Margaret N. Rosenfeld focuses her corporate and securities practice on complex matters including public offerings and private placements of securities; corporate investigations; public company reporting; corporate governance and compliance; mergers and acquisitions; intellectual property protection and licensing; and general corporate representation.
