Smith Anderson Chosen "Best Places to Work Award" Winner
On August 12, Triangle Business Journal revealed the winners of its 2020 Best Places to Work awards, selecting Smith Anderson as a winner in the Large Company category – those that employ 100 to 249 workers. The award recognizes the most admired workplaces in the region and is measured by employee feedback about the direction of the business, management effectiveness, level of employee engagement, culture, work/life balance, pay and benefits.
“I have always believed that Smith Anderson is absolutely a best place to work, and our support for one another having to work remotely during the pandemic has demonstrated the professionalism and commitment of our entire staff,” said Smith Anderson Managing Partner Byron Kirkland. “Smith Anderson is truly a special place and I could not be more proud of all of our talented people who strive to be exceptional.”
According to the article, winners had to meet a threshold in employee participation in a survey conducted by an employee feedback software company. The survey was distributed to the entire staff of each nominated company and the required employee participation percentage varied based upon the size of the company.
