Smith Anderson Attorney Katherine Young Biegler Graduates from North Carolina Bar Association’s Leadership Academy
RALEIGH, N.C. – Smith Anderson associate Katherine Young Biegler completed the North Carolina Bar Association’s Leadership Academy along with 15 other selected young lawyers in the state. The graduation presentation was held during the General Session of the NCBA Annual Meeting on Friday, June 22, 2012 in Wilmington, N.C.
The class of 2012’s strong interest in leadership was strengthened through training sessions held by NCBA’s Young Lawyer Initiatives Task Force in cooperation with the Center for Creative Leadership, a world renowned leadership training organization headquartered in Greensboro, North Carolina. The Leadership Academy was implemented last year under then-President Gene Pridgen. The mission of the Leadership Academy is to help young lawyers become effective leaders in their communities, whether their communities are the legal profession, their firms, legal departments or other workplaces, other organizations which they are associated with or their local, state, national or international communities.
