Sandy Costa Speaks at the Institute of Management Consultants

Raleigh, NC (September 14, 2010) – Santo J. Costa, a lawyer with Smith Anderson practicing in the areas of Life Sciences and Securities and Growth Companies, spoke at a meeting of the Institute of Management Consultants-Carolina’s section. Sandy’s topic was “Hollywood Got it Wrong: How Leadership Really Works”. The event was held Monday, September 13, 2010 in Greensboro, NC.

“The ability to lead others is critical, but equally important is ‘self-leadership’. The attributes that provide for effectively leading others are just as applicable to being successful in all we do. Moreover, you can’t lead others confidently and effectively until you can understand and lead yourself,” explained Costa.

Mr. Costa is the author of the book, Humanity at Work: Encouraging Truth, Achievement & Spirit to Flourish in the Workplace.
