Robert Rehm Teaches Course on Intellectual Property Transactions at Campbell University School of Law

Raleigh, NC (September 2, 2010) – Robert Rehm, a partner in Smith Anderson’s Intellectual Property practice group, will teach a course on Intellectual Property Transactions during the Spring Semester 2011 as an adjunct faculty member at Campbell University School of Law in Raleigh. The course will focus primarily on the intellectual property aspects of technology commercialization transactions, including licensing, joint venture, alliance, and other types of collaborative arrangements in which intellectual property assets are created, enhanced, and shared.

Rehm regularly represents a variety of clients in connection with technology commercialization matters, with a particular emphasis on matters involving software, hardware, and other assets relating to information technology. His practice generally focuses on technology licensing and commercialization and the acquisition, licensing and protection of patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret, and other intellectual property rights. Rehm was a practicing electrical engineer for 16 years prior to embarking on a legal career.
