North Carolina Lawyers Weekly Lists Smith Anderson on 2022 Largest Law Firms Roster

Smith Anderson has maintained its top 10 spot as one of the largest law firms in North Carolina on the North Carolina Lawyers Weekly 2022 list of Largest Law Firms. The firm remains the largest business and litigation law firm in the Triangle.

Smith Anderson employed 140 attorneys as of Jan 1, 2022. NCLW notes that there was a “small but steady” growth in the number of attorneys at the 40 largest law firms in North Carolina over the past two years, with 3,474 lawyers working at the firms. Thirty-one of the state’s 40 largest law firms reported growth over the past year, adding 147 attorneys to their firms.
