Raleigh, NC - Mike Weddington, Of Counsel at Smith Anderson, has been appointed to the American Arbitration Association (AAA) national panel of mediators. AAA mediators must have a minimum of 10 years of senior-level experience in business, industry or a profession; be certified or have completed mediator training; and have an education degree and/or professional license(s) appropriate to the applicant’s field of expertise. The AAA is a not-for-profit corporation with offices throughout the United States and has a long history and experience in the field of alternative dispute resolution, providing services to individuals and organizations wishing to resolve conflicts out of court.

Mike has been certified by the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission as a Superior Court mediator for over 20 years and provides mediation services in North Carolina Superior Court and U. S. District Court cases, both as a court-appointed mediator and as a party-selected mediator.
