Merrill Mason and Andrew Fisher Present to Triangle Startup Factory Entrepreneurs

RALEIGH, N.C. – Smith Anderson lawyers Merrill Mason and Andrew Fisher delivered a presentation to the Triangle Startup Factory entrepreneurs regarding the JOBS Act, crowdfunding financing options and limitations on Nov. 8, 2012.

Triangle Startup Factory, the most highly capitalized technology accelerator in the Southeast, runs an intensive three month program customized for early stage start-up companies. Start-ups receive $50,000 in seed capital, hands-on mentorship, and access to a broad network of active angels, veteran start-up founders, and experienced technology experts.

Throughout the program, hands-on mentors help companies develop and refine their product, launch it to their target customer segments, and test their delivery and business models. All companies that successfully complete the accelerator receive additional convertible note financing.
