Merrill Mason Volunteers at Groundwork Labs’ Guru Desk to Lend Legal Advice to Entrepreneurs

Raleigh, N.C. – On June 19, 2013, Merrill Mason volunteered at the Groundwork Labs’ “Guru Desk” in the American Underground in Durham, N.C., to lend legal advice to local entrepreneurs.  The “Guru” Desk” is open nearly every day and features business advisers from the community who spend two hours in the lab entertaining questions from entrepreneurs and providing guidance on their new business ventures.  A Smith Anderson lawyer volunteers every month to counsel on start-up formation, intellectual property protection or contracts.
