Mark Ash Presents on Electronic Discovery and the Business Court at the 2006 NC Association of Defense Attorneys Annual Meeting
Smith Anderson partner Mark Ash presented on Electronic Discovery and the North Carolina Business Court at the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys (NCADA) annual meeting on June 23, 2006. Mr. Ash's presentation was part of a seminar on the business court sponsored by the NCADA's commercial litigation section. In addition to Mr. Ash, other presenters included commercial litigators and two of the three judges presently serving on the Business Court.
The NCADA brings together civil litigation lawyers to promote exchange of information; and to strengthen the practice, skills and knowledge of lawyers defending individuals and business in North Carolina.
An experienced commercial litigator for over 25 years, Mr. Ash has significant experience with complex litigation, including multi-party cases, multi-district litigation, administrative agency disputes, temporary restraining orders, and preliminary injunctions. A licensed commercial pilot, he has defended a wide variety of aviation cases and his diverse experience includes trade secret and unfair competition matters and intellectual property and computer technology-related cases.
