Kirk Warner Elected Vice President of the Raleigh Rotary Club

Raleigh, N.C. – Smith Anderson Partner Kirk Warner was recently elected as the new Vice President of the Raleigh Rotary Club.

The Vice Presidency is a one-year term of office that leads to the positions of President-Elect and President.  Kirk previously served as the Club’s Director of Administration—one of four Directors on of the Board of the Rotary Club of Raleigh.  Throughout his two years as Director, he was responsible for club administration—including meetings, programs and all administrative aspects. 

The Raleigh Rotary Club is the oldest civic service organization in North Carolina. Established in 1914, it dedicates itself to addressing community needs and international concerns.  Notable local contributions include its sponsorship of the Rotary against Drugs Speech Contest at Broughton High School, as well as the “Unsung Hero Awards” to recognize and thank local citizens for their service.  The Rotary Club has also supported a number of organizations and initiatives in the field of education, including the Four Way Test essay contest and hosting international exchange students.  The Rotary Club of Raleigh also has long engaged in Rotary International’s Polio Plus Campaign to eradicate polio worldwide.
