Jackson Moore and David Hayden Speak at North Carolina Small Business and Technology Development Center (SBTDC)

RALEIGH, N.C. – Smith Anderson lawyers, Jackson Moore and David Hayden, recently presented on substantive and practical issues related to joint ventures, subcontracts and teaming agreements for the North Carolina Small Business and Technology Development Center (SBTDC) during an event held at The RDU Center at the Raleigh Durham Airport, on July 26, 2012. Mr. Hayden and Mr. Moore have also presented in recent months on similar topics for the SBTDC at the Airborne & Special Operations Museum (ASOM) in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

Mr. Moore and Mr. Hayden, members of the Firm’s Government Contracting group, each frequently speak to members of the business and legal community about bidding, contracting and compliance issues that are unique to government contracting. At both SBTDC forums, Mr. Moore and Mr. Hayden discussed general legal issues that arise in the United States government contracting arena and helped prepare participants for the latest of the ever-changing governmental regulations. They also addressed practical lessons learned in the process of selecting potential partners and drafting of various teaming agreements.
