Jackson Moore Speaks at the 10th Annual North Carolina Defense Trade Show
Raleigh, NC (August 9, 2011) – Jackson Moore, a lawyer with Smith Anderson, spoke on August 9, 2011 at the 10th Annual North Carolina Defense Trade Show. He spoke on the topic of Bid Protests and Debriefing in Government Contracts. The trade show was held at Fayetteville Technical Community College with featured co-hosts: Senator Richard Burr, Senator Kay Hagan and Congressman Larry Kissell among others.
North Carolina has the largest military footprint in the nation with the military having an estimated $23.4 billion annual impact on North Carolina’s economy. The purpose of the Trade Show is to provide North Carolina Defense contractors with an opportunity to evaluate and strengthen the defense business community. The event featured more than 60 exhibitors including defense contractors, North Carolina businesses and government agencies, a workshop series for government contractors, and networking opportunities for all attendees.
Mr. Moore’s practice focuses on government contracting and business dispute resolution, including litigation, mediation, and arbitration. He has significant experience handling complex civil litigation, including class actions, shareholder and internal corporate disputes, breaches of contract and trade practices, intellectual property matters and investor and employment litigation. He has handled numerous matters on an expedited basis and has represented parties in disputes pending in state and federal trial courts, the North Carolina Business Court, and the North Carolina Court of Appeals.
