Governor McCrory, Mike Mitchell and the North Carolina Business Committee for Education Announce the Teachers @ Work Initiative
Raleigh, N.C. – At a press conference on November 14th, 2013, Governor Pat McCrory was joined by Smith Anderson Partner Mike Mitchell, who spoke on behalf of the North Carolina Business Committee for Education (NCBCE), to introduce the committee’s new initiative for 2014 called Teachers @ Work. Mike is the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for the NCBCE.
The Teachers @ Work program is a partnership between the NCBCE and the Department of Public Instruction that will provide teachers with opportunities to learn from local businesses and grow their understanding of how to connect their classroom curriculum to local jobs.
