Geoff Krouse and Jackson Moore Participate in Duke Law School LEAD Program
Raleigh (August 25, 2009) – Geoff Krouse, a partner in Smith Anderson’s Corporate Practice Group and Jackson Moore, a partner in Smith Anderson’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group, participated in Duke University School of Law’s LEAD (Lawyer Education and Development) week. The event took place August 17-21, 2009, at Duke University and was part of the first-year law school class orientation.
Krouse and Moore, both Duke Law alumni, served as practitioner representatives in one of the kickoff events entitled “Embody Integrity, Practice Professionalism.” This event divided Duke Law’s first-year class into small groups joined by upper-class students, alumni, deans and professors. The groups discussed ethical, professional and moral dilemmas that can arise as a law student or legal practitioner.
