Geoff Krouse Participates in The Association for Corporate Growth’s Annual “Capital Ideas” Conference

Raleigh, NC (October 26, 2009) - Geoff Krouse, a partner in Smith Anderson’s Mergers & Acquisitions and Securities & Growth Practice Groups, hosted a session at the annual conference of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) on Thursday, October 22. The “Capital Ideas” conference was a briefing on the state of the capital markets and focused on both public and private capital-raising as well as trends in mergers and acquisitions. Krouse’s session addressed the state of the public capital markets, and featured Peter Rittmaster, the head of the U.S. equity syndicate for RBC Capital Markets.

Margaret Rosenfeld, also a partner in Smith Anderson’s Mergers & Acquisitions and Securities & Growth Practice Groups, was also involved in the conference. She is currently on ACG’s board and is the board's president-elect, continuing Smith Anderson’s strong connection to the Triangle Chapter of ACG. Smith Anderson is an annual sponsor of ACG and an active participant in ACG events.
