David Hayden Speaks at a North Carolina Defense Business Association CLIMB Series

RALEIGH, N.C. – David Hayden, a lawyer with Smith Anderson’s Government Contracting practice group, delivered a seminar on bid protests related to contracting with the federal government at the North Carolina Defense Business Association (NCDBA) recent “Connecting Leaders in Military Business” (CLIMB) event at the NCDBA Office in Fayetteville, N.C. on April 16, 2013. The presentation, entitled “Contract Protest – Don’t Panic!” concerned issues related to challenging federal government decisions in the procurement process through the use of bid protests.

David regularly speaks to members of the business community on government contracting and other legal issues. During the NCDBA CLIMB Series event, he also addressed practical lessons he had learned and recent decisions from the United States Government Accountability Office and federal courts related to bid protests.
