Dana Simpson Speaks at North Carolina Medical Group Managers’ Fall Conference

Raleigh, NC (October 10, 2010) - Dana Simpson, a Partner in Smith Anderson’s Health Care and Public and Government Affairs practice groups, gave a keynote presentation to an annual meeting of the North Carolina Medical Group Managers’ Fall Conference on Friday, October 1 in Asheville, North Carolina.

Mr. Simpson has been actively involved in tracking healthcare reform and gave an interactive presentation on the Patient Protection & Affordable Care Act. The presentation included updates on regulations, timelines and what is next in healthcare.

The conference was sponsored by the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA). The MGMA is the nation’s principal voice for medical group practices with the core purpose of improving the effectiveness of medical group practices and the knowledge and skills of those who manage and lead them.
