Business North Carolina's 'Legal Elite' Recognizes Nine Smith Anderson Attorneys in Specialty Areas
Business North Carolina's "Legal Elite," a listing published annually of the state's top lawyers in business-related categories, has included nine Smith Anderson attorneys to its 2022 Legal Elite List, including four lawyers who are members of the magazine's "Hall of Fame."
Each year, Business North Carolina sends ballots to every member of the North Carolina State Bar, and this year, approximately 870 lawyers were selected as a Legal Elite, the only honor that gives every active lawyer of the N.C. State Bar who are North Carolina residents a chance to participate and vote for their most-esteemed peers.
The Smith Anderson attorneys named to the 2022 Legal Elite List are:

- Kerry Shad, Employment Law
- Joshua Bryant, Tax and Estate Planning
- Kimberly Swintosky, Tax and Estate Planning
The Smith Anderson attorneys who are members of the Legal Elite Hall of Fame are:
