Black In-House Counsel’s Annual Report Showcases Smith Anderson Client Dominion Energy  

Smith Anderson client Dominion Energy and Dominion’s senior vice president and general counsel, Carlos Brown, are featured in the Black In-House Counsel’s 2022 Annual Report.

“Disrupting the Status Quo: Carlos Brown on Using His Influence to Change Culture and Increase Diversity" describes how Carlos has assembled a team of attorneys who are some of the best of the best, including Smith Anderson attorney Sharita Whitaker. Carlos details Dominion Energy’s efforts to provide “consistent and meaningful work to diverse lawyers in large firms and to diverse-owned law firms.”

Sharita advises Dominion Energy on real estate matters, joining other talented attorneys who are part of The Dominion Legal Diversity Plan, comprised of other Black attorneys who counsel Dominion Energy on a wide-range of legal matters.
