Bart Norman Joins Board of Directors of Hospice of Wake County

Raleigh, NC (April 20, 2011) – Bart Norman, a lawyer with Smith Anderson’s Capital Markets and Commercial Transactions practice, has begun a four year term on the Board of Directors of Hospice of Wake County, Inc. Hospice of Wake County is the oldest, largest and most experienced hospice organization serving Wake, Durham, Johnston, Franklin and Harnett counties. It has served the area since 1979, helping families deal with a life-limiting diagnosis, counseling families throughout their grief journey, and providing community education programs.

Mr. Norman has broad experience in the corporate and finance activities of public and private companies, including syndicated and commercial loans and high-yield senior and subordinated debt offerings. He also represents clients in mergers and acquisitions and other complex commercial transactions, and regularly counsels clients with regard to commercial and corporate law issues.
