A Toast to Triangle Women In-house Counsel

Every year, Smith Anderson hosts a networking reception for women in-house lawyers in the Triangle. Our purpose is to provide a space for female in-house lawyers to exchange information, advice and referrals and advance their career development. Our networking receptions have become tremendously popular and have played a meaningful role in fostering dozens of new relationships between women in-house lawyers in our area.

This year’s event was particularly special as attendees participated in a wine tasting featuring wines created by female winemakers. The wines selected offered a glimpse into the lives of these women: their backstories, their struggles and their ultimate success in a male-dominated industry. The countries of origin of these wines – France, California, New Zealand and Argentina – further showcased the increasingly global reach of female leadership and entrepreneurism.
